Manuel Urgiles is a guitarist who has gained regional renown for his ability to play a variety of musical genres. When he isn't playing with Portland-based singer/songwriter Xander Nelson, Manuel leads an instrumental power trio whose music fuses progressive metal, Latin music, and jazz. MANUEL's sound would appeal to fans of Santana, the Mars Volta, and Opeth. The band will tour the East Coast this autumn to support its latest EP Underneath.
